Dalry
is a most attractive and popular traditional Scottish village with
superb views across the upper valley of the River Ken. It is located
on the Southern Upland Way, Scotland's 212 coast to coast long distance
walk and is an ideal base for hill walking, fishing, bird watching,
sight seeing or one of the many country pursuits available locally.

and the locals are friendly and helpful.

and only 30 miles south of the seaside town of Ayr not to mention

for the kids and many activities to keep everyone amused.
