There are many things to see and do in the area from visiting local towns and villages to getting out and about and walking down sandy beaches or exploring the Galloway Forest Park.

The area has many varied outdoor activities to enjoy including falconry, mountain biking, endless walking and fishing on local lochs and rivers. We also have a local population of Red Kites and the popular Red Kite Trial, the Galloway Forest Trail plus much much more.
